here's some demos i've been working on for my album!! as i write/produce them i'll upload them here (even if they're not quite 'ready'!!) i'm trying to let go of things being perfect... AI can already 'make' a 'perfect' song... i don't think that's what we need anymore. read more about the music!

i've been having fun making these old school sites the last few days (almost obsessively) and as i say this, i'm well aware how dorky this sounds, but the creative freedom found in web design inspired me to be as free with music... then this weird song came out of it, it sounds like a patch work or scrap book to me. i feel like life / change is creeping up on me once again (as it's supposed to, i suppose) and this is how i'm feeling about it.
i was really inspired by the new kim gordon album when i made this... i don't think it's actually reminiscent of it sonically but when reading about the album, i learned the word 'Sprechgesang' (a german word for speak-singing bascially) and i ended up bringing that forward to the song.
